Art on the IPhone and Tuesday Craft

Writer's picture: Elizabeth ClaireElizabeth Claire

This is my first post of 2021 so Happy New Year to all! It was my goal to write about crafts every Tuesday but it was hard to attain that during the holiday season and today seems to be a good day to write after receiving a super cute IPhone 11 case from my Society 6 products. Love the quality of the art on the case and it is super shiny. Can't be more pleased with the product. Below you can see the cover and a pillow with a similar art. It is similar because the pillow is an original acrylic painting and the art on the phone cover was created in Procreate when I was learning and trying to reproduce my style with it.

On Monday I was planning on the craft I wanted to present on Tuesday choosing between a few things I am working with when the IPhone cover from Society 6 arrived. In a matter of seconds I remembered a note sent by a client from Etsy who kindly shared that she was going to make a bag for her IPhone with the piece of fabric she was buying. Then it was Tuesday, the day I chose to make a craft to share in the blog. I was willing to make a quilted bag from my wish list but I found myself checking YouTube videos of IPhone cases. I am sharing the one that blow my mind because I could use my small fabric squares for the outside pockets. For my surprise I found two fabric squares with the same art as the Iphone Case. Isn't that amazing!

I had to make small changes to make the fabric squares fit and the finding are different from those she used but I love the result!!

This fabric square design is not available at the store in the smaller sizes but there are other designs that can be used for this case. The flame tree (flamboyán in Spanish) is available in larger sizes that can be used for pillow covers, tote bags or quilt wall art. The possibilities are endless.

I'll be sharing more on my blog after making a big decision related to the production of ceramics. After 24 years I am retiring from the production of it but I am eager learning new things with ceramic just for my joy. I also want to spend more time creating art that can be used by others on their crafts or products. I love fabric crafts and it is a joy to share my art for them. I am thrilled learning about new possibilities with my art used on crafts like embroidery. I am working hard to start adding more products on both stores so you can download and use my art to make your craft or buy the piece of fabric to make that project you want. I'll keep you posted but for now you can browse both stores to check the products already available like this downloadable greeting card ideal for Valentine or any good occasion to show your love! You just have to buy, download and print! Very easy and very affordable. The design is also available in Spanish!

Last but not least I want to welcome all new clients from the UK. It is a joy to know that my art can go that far.

Thanks for your visit and I hope I can be more present to share more!

Stay Safe and Enjoy the Ride!

From my heart,

Elizabeth Claire

Important NOTE: I make the crafts to share here on Tuesdays and I was having a hard time making it and writing in the blog the same day. From now on I will still be making the crafts on Tuesday but will be sharing them later in the week, hopefully the next day as I did today. Making things more pleasant for me is a goal, too. For someone like me, who used to think that working harder was better, it is a difficult goal. Maybe very late in life but I am learning to show more love and respect to myself!
